Janae Jones, Self-Portrait

One of the things I most admire about Janae Jones separate from her talent as a photographer is that she lets you discover for yourself what it is you want to know about her.  She’s private, not secretive.  There is a big difference. One trait is vastly more mature than the other. Janae is doing some photo work for a completely different  AFA project, but after about 30 seconds of girl talk around my dining table, it was plain-as-day imperative to at least make a crack at getting more of her story and her artistic voice out.  Turns out, all I had to do was ask. Now I’m in the peculiar position of sharing her desire to guard these details as well but it’s too inspiring not to share a little. (more)
